| Beschrijving voorzijde | Printed in blue-grey on plain paper, the obverse carries the denomination numeral '10' in large figures within circular guilloche medallions at left and right, with the city arms of Steyr — a rampant lion on a shield — centred between them. The inscription 'Heller 10 Heller' arches across the top in decorative script, while a cartouche at the lower portion bears a multi-line text authorising the issue and giving the date Steyr, 4. November 1919. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Printed in dark brown on a finely cross-hatched underprint, the reverse is dominated by the large gothic-script inscription 'Zehn Heller' across the centre within a scallop-bordered panel. The denomination numeral '10' appears in bold square cartouches at upper left and upper right, and a curved banner at the top reads 'Gutschein der Stadtgemeinde Steyr / Gültig bis 30. Juni 1920'. Below the central vignette, three lines of text affirm the municipality's legal liability to redeem the note, followed by the printed titles and facsimile signatures of the Vizebürgermeister and Bürgermeister. |
