| Obverse description | Printed in blue-grey on plain paper, the obverse carries the denomination numeral '10' in large figures within circular guilloche medallions at left and right, with the city arms of Steyr — a rampant lion on a shield — centred between them. The inscription 'Heller 10 Heller' arches across the top in decorative script, while a cartouche at the lower portion bears a multi-line text authorising the issue and giving the date Steyr, 4. | Reverse description | Printed in dark brown on a finely cross-hatched underprint, the reverse is dominated by the large gothic-script inscription 'Zehn Heller' across the centre within a scallop-bordered panel. The denomination numeral '10' appears in bold square cartouches at upper left and upper right, and a curved banner at the top reads 'Gutschein der Stadtgemeinde Steyr / Gültig bis 30. Juni 1920'.
