A central rectangular vignette, signed by artist E. Tomaschun in the upper left, presents a riverside panorama of Stein an der Donau with its characteristic twin-towered Baroque church and town buildings along the Danube. D. issued interest-free Kassenscheine to the value of 100,000 Kronen to alleviate the small-change shortage, redeemable at the municipal treasury between 16 and 30 September 1920, with a counterfeit warning at the foot.
