Beschrijving keerzijde The reverse is printed entirely in green on cream paper and enclosed within an ornate scrollwork border. The heading 'Gutschein der Gemeinde Schönbichl' appears in large Gothic blackletter at the top, with 'Bezirk Amstetten, N.-Ö.' beneath. A block of Gothic-script text sets out the legal redemption terms, stating that vouchers of 10, 20, and 50 Heller were issued by resolution of 21 March 1920 and are redeemable in lawful currency at the Gemeindeamt Schönbichl during December 1920. The denomination 'Zehn 10 Heller' is repeated along the lower margin within decorative guilloche panels.

Opmerkingen

Schönbichl is a small municipality in Lower Austria, and this note is a Notgeld issue — emergency municipal currency printed during the acute coin shortage that followed Austria's defeat in the First World War. By 1921 the worst of the Notgeld wave had already crested, making late issues like this one less common than the flood of 1920 production. Three signatories authenticated it: the Bürgermeister, his deputy, and a single Gemeinderat, which was the minimum quorum most Lower Austrian parishes used for binding financial instruments.
