Beschrijving voorzijde	Green tinted notgeld on a fine diamond-pattern guilloche underprint. To the left, an oval vignette rendered in dark letterpress ink presents a view of the Ruppersthal parish church with its distinctive steeple, surrounded by decorative grapevine and harvest motifs; numeral '10' appears in circular cartouches at upper left and upper right. To the right, the denomination and issuer details are set in bold Gothic blackletter script, with three manuscript signatures below and the validity date 'gültig bis 31. Dezember 1920' printed beneath the denomination text.

Beschrijving keerzijde	Plain white reverse with no vignette or underprint, printed entirely in black letterpress. An aphoristic couplet appears at upper right, followed by the bold heading 'NOTGELD' and the issuer line 'DER GEMEINDE RUPPERSTHAL, N.-Ö.' above the denomination 'ÜBER 10 HELLER'. A block of text in Roman type sets out the redemption conditions, concluding with a counterfeit warning.
