To the left, an oval vignette rendered in dark letterpress ink presents a view of the Ruppersthal parish church with its distinctive steeple, surrounded by decorative grapevine and harvest motifs; numeral '10' appears in circular cartouches at upper left and upper right. To the right, the denomination and issuer details are set in bold Gothic blackletter script, with three manuscript signatures below and the validity date 'gültig bis 31. Dezember 1920' printed beneath the denomination text.

A block of text in Roman type sets out the redemption conditions, concluding with a counterfeit warning.
