| 背面描述 | Printed in violet on cream paper, the reverse is dominated by a panoramic line-engraved vignette of the town of Mistelbach with church towers, rooftops and surrounding foliage, framed above by decorative scrollwork and a floral garland. The town's crowned heraldic shield appears at the centre bottom of the vignette. Denomination numerals '10' are set within dotted circular cartouches at the upper left and right corners, and two text panels in Fraktur script at the lower corners record historical inscriptions regarding the town's founding and elevation to city status. |

Mistelbach is a market town in Lower Austria, and like hundreds of similar municipalities, it resorted to issuing its own small-denomination emergency paper during WWI when hoarding stripped metal coinage from circulation almost entirely. These Heller notes — collectively termed Notgeld — were authorized under Austrian wartime provisions and typically printed locally or through regional stationers, with quality varying accordingly.
The JPR prefix in Jaksch cataloguing distinguishes Austrian municipal issues from the broader Pick system. The 10 Heller denomination was among the most heavily used in everyday transactions, meaning survivors in clean condition are proportionally less common than higher denominations that saw less handling.
