The printer, Josef Stampfl & Comp. operating under Leop. Höglinger, was a local Braunau am Inn firm, and the proximity of that town to the issuing municipality kept production costs minimal. The "b" suffix in the Jaksc/Pick reference indicates a variant within the series — likely a paper stock or signature configuration difference from the "a" type.
