| 备注 |
Grödig, a small village south of Salzburg, housed one of Austria-Hungary's many prisoner-of-war camps during the First World War. Camp-issued Lagergeld like this 10 Heller note was a deliberate administrative tool — by creating a closed internal currency, authorities prevented prisoners from accumulating Austro-Hungarian crowns that could fund escape attempts or purchase contraband from guards.
The Campbell reference 1392 places this among a well-documented but physically scarce group. Camp notes were produced in large quantities yet rarely survived the war; most were demonetized and destroyed when camps were dissolved in 1918-1919 during the repatriation process.
