| Obverse description | Printed on red paper in dark blue ink, the obverse carries a line-art vignette of the Eferding Rathaus (town hall), its arched gateway and cupola tower rendered in a spare, Jugendstil-influenced style. To the right of the vignette, a vertical decorative border of stylised fruit — apples and pears — frames the large numeral '10'. The denomination legend 'ZEHN HELLER' and the issuer inscription 'GUTSCHEIN DER STADT EFERDING' are set in bold Art Nouveau lettering across the lower portion of the note, flanked by small ornamental motifs, with the printer's imprint 'DRUCK V. LANGHAMMER, LINZ.' at the foot. |

| Reverse description | The reverse, also on red stock printed in dark blue, is divided into two sections. The upper portion presents a decorative dashed border enclosing four lines of Upper Austrian dialect verse from Franz Stelzhamer's 'Hoamàtgsang', with the source attribution printed beneath in quotation marks. Below, a block of justified German text records the municipal council resolution of 24 November 1919 guaranteeing redemption of the note in lawful currency within four weeks of public notice, followed by the facsimile signature of the Bürgermeister and an anti-counterfeiting warning. |
