| 备注 |
Printed under German occupation, this note was produced by Enschedé in Haarlem while the Netherlands remained under Nazi administrative control — a fact that gave postwar authorities considerable pause about the entire wartime series. De Nederlandsche Bank continued operating throughout the occupation, issuing currency through channels the occupying administration could monitor and, where useful, exploit.
The "Staalmeester" nickname derives from the Rembrandt painting whose composition influenced the engraved group portrait — a piece of popular shorthand that stuck in the trade long after formal catalog numbers took over.
