背面描述	The large numeral 10 dominates the upper central field in bold relief, with the denomination legend FRANCS GUINEENS inscribed in two lines beneath it. A decorative laurel or floral branch wreath frames the lower portion of the denomination, its sprigs meeting at the base of the design. The commemorative date legend LE 2 OCTOBRE 1958 arcs along the upper periphery, referencing Guinea's independence proclamation. The national motto TRAVAIL-JUSTICE-SOLIDARITE curves along the lower rim, separated by raised dots, completing the circular border legend.

附加信息	Guinea's 1959 coinage was among the first acts of the newly independent republic after Sékou Touré's government voted "Non" in the 1958 French constitutional referendum — the only French African territory to reject de Gaulle's proposed community outright. France responded by withdrawing all administrative and financial support within two months, pulling personnel, equipment, and even tearing out telephone lines. The Institut d'Émission was established in direct consequence, replacing the franc of the French West African monetary union with a wholly sovereign currency almost immediately upon independence.
