Beschrijving voorzijde Central field displays the full coloured coat of arms of the Republic of Benin, featuring two rampant lions flanking a quartered shield surmounted by a buffalo head crest, with the motto ribbon inscribed FRATERNITE JUSTICE TRAVAIL below. The circular legend REPUBLIQUE DU BENIN arcs along the upper periphery in green lettering. The date 2018 is split to either side of the shield, with 20 at the left and 18 at the right. The denomination 10 appears in large green numerals below the arms, with FRANCS CFA inscribed along the lower rim. The entire design is rendered as a colour-printed appliqué on a light blue ground within a stainless steel collar.

Aanvullende informatie

Benin has no historical connection to the Tiger tank — this is a privately marketed "coin" issued under a licensing arrangement that exploits Benin's membership in the West African CFA franc zone, where a nominal face value can be assigned to objects with no genuine monetary function. The "Stainless steel (Paper)" composition notation signals exactly what this is: a laminated collectible card with metallic elements, not a struck coin in any meaningful sense. The KM reference notwithstanding, Krause's inclusion of such issues remains contested among serious catalogers.
