| Obverse description | Central device depicts the national coat of arms of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, featuring a leopard's head facing with crossed spear and arrow, flanked by the inscriptions JUSTICE and TRAVAIL on ribbons, with PAIX on a scroll beneath. The date 2008 is split to either side of the central device in large numerals, with the denomination 10 FRANCS inscribed along the lower rim. The circular legend RÉPUBLIQUE DÉMOCRATIQUE DU CONGO runs along the upper periphery in Latin script. The coin is struck in proof-like finish with a polished field and frosted relief. |
