Obverse description Central design features the Jordanian royal crown surmounting a circular wreath-encircled field containing the Arabic numeral '١٠' (10) in bold relief, flanked by a wheat ear to the left and a palm frond to the right. The Hijri date appears above the numeral within the inner circle, and the Christian year appears below alongside the Arabic denomination 'عشرة فلوس' (Ten Fils). The Arabic legend '*المملكة الاردنية الهاشمية*' (The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan) is inscribed in cursive Arabic script around the periphery, with small star ornaments flanking the crown at upper left and right. A toothed border runs along the outer rim.
