| Aanvullende informatie |
Part of Monnaie de Paris's ongoing "Semeuse" heritage series, this issue draws on the allegorical figure first introduced to French coinage by Louis-Oscar Roty in 1897. The Amazone design references a separate sculptural tradition entirely — the 19th-century equestrian bronzes that decorated the approaches to the Palais de l'Industrie during the Second Empire.
Struck to a mintage of 5,000 pieces.
