| Reverse description | The reverse presents a stylized modernist design featuring an abstracted view of a ship's funnels and deck elements in the upper portion of the field, rendered in a geometric art style. A bold horizontal band across the center bears the inscription 'LES GRANDS NAVIRES FRANÇAIS' in raised letters. The denomination '10 EURO' appears in the upper right field in large numerals. The date '2013' is inscribed in the lower exergual area, flanked by small decorative elements. |

| Additional information |
Part of Monnaie de Paris's ongoing "Semeuse" heritage series, this issue draws on the allegorical figure first introduced to French coinage by Louis-Oscar Roty in 1897. The Amazone design references a separate sculptural tradition entirely — the 19th-century equestrian bronzes that decorated the approaches to the Palais de l'Industrie during the Second Empire.
Struck to a mintage of 5,000 pieces.
