Reverse description Melita, the classical allegorical personification of Malta, is depicted seated three-quarter facing, wearing a mural crown and classical drapery, holding aloft the bicolour Maltese flag on a staff with her right hand while resting her left hand on a stone plinth. The denomination 10 EURO appears in the lower left field. The commemorative legend CENTENARY SELF-GOVERNMENT CONSTITUTION arcs across the upper border, with CONSTITUTION continuing vertically along the right border. The dual dates 1921 and 2021 are inscribed in two lines at the lower right, and the engraver's initials NGB appear at the base of the field.
