The shield is flanked by two olive branches joined at the base, with a scroll beneath bearing the legend REPUBBLIKA TA' MALTA. The country name MALTA appears to the left of the arms along the inner border, and the date 2022 to the right. The outer border is decorated with twelve five-pointed stars in relief against a polished field. |

| 裏面の説明 | The reverse, designed and engraved by Noel Galea Bason (whose monogram NGB appears to the left), commemorates the centenary of the Maltese National Anthem, the Innu Malti, first performed in 1922. The central field features portrait busts of the anthem's composer Mro. Robert Samut and its lyricist Dun Karm Psaila, accompanied by a musical score in the lower portion of the field. The face value 10 EURO and the date 2022 are inscribed in the lower field beneath the portraits. Along the upper rim, the commemorative legend L-INNU MALTI JINDAQQ L-EWWEL DARBA • 1922-2022 • arcs the design, while opening lines of the anthem's text appear in the lower field. |
