| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse presents a dynamic, Cubist-inspired allegorical composition commemorating the centenary of the Deutsche Nationalbibliothek. A stylized female profile in left-facing relief dominates the left portion of the design, her head rendered in a geometric, modernist artistic idiom evoking early 20th-century avant-garde aesthetics. Behind and around the figure, abstract representations of books, architectural elements, binary and typographic sequences — including Latin characters 'ABC' and Hebrew letters 'אבג', as well as binary strings '010010' and '1000110' — fill the field, symbolizing the library's multilingual and multimedia collections.
