| 裏面の説明 | The reverse displays the common European Union design for the 10 euro cent denomination, featuring a relief map of the European Union in the left portion of the field, rendered with fine detail against a lined background. The large numeral 10 dominates the right side of the coin in bold relief, with the inscription EURO CENT arranged in two lines beneath it. The engraver's initials LL, attributed to Luc Luycx, appear discreetly in the field. Fine radial lines fill the background of the map area, contrasting with the smooth field around the denomination. The design conforms to the standardised second-map reverse type adopted across the eurozone from 2007 onward. |

Belgium updated its euro coinage map design in 2008 to include Romania and Bulgaria following their 2007 EU accession, prompting a second revision of the reverses across the entire Belgian euro series. The portrait side was similarly updated around the same time, making 2009 the start of a compound redesign rather than a single incremental change.
Albert II abdicated in July 2013 in favor of Philippe, ending this type's production mid-series.
