| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central motif is the Madara Horseman (Мадарски конник), a UNESCO World Heritage-listed early medieval rock relief carved near Shumen, depicted as a right-facing mounted warrior thrusting a spear downward toward a prostrate lion beneath the horse's forelegs. The relief is rendered in a simplified yet historically faithful numismatic style, closely translating the original stone carving. The Cyrillic legend БЪЛГАРИЯ arcs along the upper portion of the field, while СТОТИНКИ appears along the lower field.
