| Reverse description | Central device depicts Saint George, clad in full armour and a plumed helmet, mounted on a rearing horse and thrusting a long lance downward to slay a writhing dragon beneath the horse's hooves. The design is rendered in high relief within a raised inner circle, closely following the tradition of the classic Benedetto Pistrucci composition. The denomination 'TEN ECU' arcs across the upper legend border, flanked by small floral ornaments at either side. The numeral '10' appears to the right of the central device within the inner circle, and the date '1992' is inscribed along the lower border. |
