A small heraldic eagle shield appears to the right of the horse in the lower field, and a decorative linden sprig occupies the lower center below the horse. The engravers' initials B·O·Š appear at the bottom of the field, referencing Jaroslav Benda and Otakar Španiel. The circular legend NEDEJ·ZAHYNOUTI·NÁM·I·BUDOUCÍM arcs along the upper periphery within a beaded border, with the date of Saint Wenceslas's martyrdom +929 inscribed to the left of the rider. |
