| Descrição do anverso | Three-quarter length effigy of György Rákóczi I facing right, depicted in richly ornamented Hungarian princely regalia including an elaborately jewelled and fur-trimmed hat with feather plume, a heavily decorated mantle fastened with a brooch, and holding a sceptre in his right hand. The figure is rendered in high relief with fine detail typical of the Transylvanian hammered gold multiple-ducat tradition. A beaded inner border frames the design, with the Latin legend distributed around the periphery of the field. |

The elaborate crown surmounting the arms is rendered in fine detail. The date 1647 appears in the upper portion of the field, and the Latin legend encircles the composition within a beaded border, reading from the upper left in a continuous band. |
