| Popis rubu | A large ornate cross fleury with elaborately branching foliate arms radiates from a central circular medallion inscribed X DUCAT, occupying the majority of the field in a highly stylized decorative design. The cross arms terminate in flame-like and leaf-like projections, lending the composition a distinctly Renaissance character. The fineness mark 980 appears in the lower exergue beneath the cross. The surrounding legend, divided between the upper and lower periphery, reads AVORUM NON MORITURA VIRTUS above and AUREUS MAGNUS below, separated by small rosette stops. |
