The shield occupies nearly the full height of the figure, emphasizing the chivalric and commemorative character of the design. The legend arcs above the composition in two lines, flanking the central motif, with the commemorative dates incorporated into the inscription. The overall artistic treatment is bold and high-relief, consistent with mid-twentieth century German medallic art. |

| Descripción del reverso | A stylized six-pointed cross with elongated arms dominates the field, each arm terminating in a decorative finial and flanked by foliate lily ornaments in the six angles between the arms. At the center, within a hexagonal cartouche, appears the Roman numeral X above the inscription DUCAT. The fineness mark 980 is placed at the lower portion of the vertical arm, just above the bottom edge. The circular legend surrounds the entire design, reading AVORUM NON MORITURA VIRTUS above and AUREUS MAGNUS below, separated by small decorative stars. The composition presents a strongly heraldic and Gothicizing aesthetic befitting its commemorative purpose. |
