| Reverse description | A stylized six-pointed cross with elongated arms dominates the field, each arm terminating in a decorative finial and flanked by foliate lily ornaments in the six angles between the arms. At the center, within a hexagonal cartouche, appears the Roman numeral X above the inscription DUCAT. The fineness mark 980 is placed at the lower portion of the vertical arm, just above the bottom edge. The circular legend surrounds the entire design, reading AVORUM NON MORITURA VIRTUS above and AUREUS MAGNUS below, separated by small decorative stars. The composition presents a strongly heraldic and Gothicizing aesthetic befitting its commemorative purpose. |
