| Reverse description | A large ornate six-pointed cross dominates the central field, its arms terminating in stylized fleur-de-lis or lily motifs, with additional foliate sprays decorating the angles between the arms. At the center of the cross, a small lozenge or cartouche bears the Roman numeral X above the inscription DUCAT. The fineness mark 980 appears in the lower field below the cross. The Latin legend SIGNATUS AD PRETIUM AURI CONSERVANDUM curves along the upper periphery, while AUREUS MAGNUS appears along the lower periphery, each separated by small ornamental stops. |
