Beschrijving keerzijde The reverse depicts a stylized goat in profile standing at center, rendered in a traditional Chinese decorative style with elaborate swirling floral and cloud motifs filling the field, evoking classic East Asian artistic traditions. The Chinese characters 癸未, denoting the cyclical year of the Goat in the Chinese calendar, appear prominently at the top of the design. The denomination '$10' is inscribed in the lower portion of the field in bold numerals. The overall composition celebrates the Lunar New Year of the Goat (2003) within an ornate decorative border.

Aanvullende informatie

Singapore's lunar series coins are legal tender but were never intended for circulation — issued as collectibles from the outset, they reach the public through MAS-authorized distributors rather than through banks as change. The Goat year falls in the second cycle of the series, by which point the program was well established enough that mintages were managed conservatively to sustain collector demand.
