目录
| 正面描述 | The national coat of arms of the Republic of Namibia occupies the central field, flanked by two oryx as supporters, each facing inward toward the shield. An African fish eagle with wings displayed surmounts the shield as crest. A scroll below the shield bears the three-part motto UNITY · LIBERTY · JUSTICE. The entire device is encircled by a continuous beaded border, with the legend REPUBLIC OF NAMIBIA arcing along the lower periphery and the date 1995 appearing in the exergual area beneath the scroll. |

Namibia's Miss Universe commemorative program launched in the mid-1990s as the newly independent nation — sovereign only since 1990 — used numismatic issues aggressively to generate foreign currency revenue. Michelle McLean, a Namibian, had won the Miss Universe title in 1992, and this coin capitalized directly on that victory. The series was aimed squarely at thematic collectors rather than domestic circulation.
