| 背面描述 | A detailed full-length depiction of the Statue of Liberty — Liberty Enlightening the World — occupies the central field, shown standing on her pedestal with her right arm raised aloft bearing a torch and her left arm holding a tablet. The legend LIBERTY ENLIGHTENING THE WORLD curves along the left and lower periphery, while NEW YORK • 1886 arcs along the upper right, commemorating the statue's location and dedication year. The denomination $10 appears in the right field. |

Liberia's commemorative program around the millennium was prolific to the point of excess — the country issued dozens of themed silver pieces through foreign mints, primarily targeting the collector market rather than domestic circulation. Most were produced by the Pobjoy Mint or similar contractors with no meaningful connection to Liberia itself.
KM#476 is one of several hundred types from this era, few of which ever touched Liberian soil.
