| Reverse description | Printed entirely in orange on a light ground, the reverse is dominated by a large central guilloche rosette with an ornate floral sunburst pattern and the numeral 10 superimposed on each side. The bank name THE PROVINCIAL BANK OF KWANG TUNG PROVINCE arcs across the upper portion, with the place and date CANTON, JAN. 1ST 1918 at lower left and right respectively. The promise-to-pay legend PROMISES TO PAY THE BEARER ON DEMAND TEN DOLLARS runs along the lower border, with the denomination 拾圓 and Ten Dollars repeated in the side panels and corner numerals throughout. |
