Birkhall, the Scottish estate on the Balmoral grounds, served as the honeymoon destination for Charles and Camilla following their April 2005 civil ceremony at Windsor Guildhall — the first marriage of a British heir apparent to a divorcée since the abdication crisis of 1936.
