| 正面描述 | Right-facing diademed and draped effigy of Queen Elizabeth II after the portrait by Ian Rank-Broadley, whose initials IRB appear below the truncation. The legend ELIZABETH II is inscribed along the upper left periphery and COOK ISLANDS along the upper right periphery, with the date 2007 centered below the portrait in the lower field. This piece belongs to Cook Islands' long-running commemorative program, which has used the territory's nominal sovereignty to issue collector coins for the global market since the 1970s — a common arrangement among Pacific island jurisdictions whose minting programs bear little relationship to domestic commerce. The Cristo Redentor statue in Rio de Janeiro, completed in 1931 after nearly a decade of construction, was engineered by Heitor da Silva Costa and sculpted by French artist Paul Landowski.
Cook Islands had no hand in the subject matter beyond licensing rights.
