Part of a broader Pacific-region collector series issued through the Reserve Bank of Fiji, this piece is one of several struck by foreign mints under Fijian authority during a period when the country's numismatic program was effectively contracted out to produce themed bullion collectibles with little connection to Fijian monetary history.
