The composition features a row of richly carved Gothic pinnacles and colonettes forming the upper gallery, above a cornice decorated with foliate and geometric ornament. Below, the arched tympanum of a portal is visible, adorned with intricate tracery and a large rose window oculus filled with quatrefoil patterns. The stonework is rendered with exceptional sculptural precision, capturing the layered depth and Gothic ornamentation of the cathedral.
