Reverse description A finely detailed, gold-gilded high-relief depiction of the Parthenon, the iconic Doric temple crowning the Acropolis of Athens, set upon a rocky limestone escarpment rendered in silver finish against a mirror-polished field. The architectural elements — including the colonnade of fluted Doric columns, the entablature, and the stepped stylobate — are selectively gold-plated, creating a striking two-tone effect. Above the central design, a globe-and-orbit emblem appears flanked by the inscriptions GREECE to the left and ΑΚΡΌΠΟΛΙΣ in Greek script to the right, with WORLD MONUMENTS inscribed beneath the globe. The denomination 10 DOLLARS is inscribed along the lower periphery.
