| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central design depicts a large sow in high relief, facing left, set against a naturalistic landscape with five piglets arranged around her in various poses. A leafy branch with oak-like foliage extends across the upper right portion of the field, with decorative plant tufts scattered across the ground. The Chinese character 豬 (pig) appears in the upper left of the field. The inscription YEAR OF THE PIG curves along the lower portion of the design in an elegant script typeface, with the Perth Mint's P mintmark positioned to the right of the sow's back. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
The Perth Mint's annual Lunar Series II ran from 2008 through 2019, making this Year of the Pig issue the final release in that twelve-year cycle. The series was conceived as a direct successor to Lunar Series I, which had itself concluded in 2007 after tracking a complete twelve-year zodiac cycle beginning with the Rat in 1996.
The 10-ounce format attracted steady institutional and collector demand throughout the run, though mintages on the larger bullion pieces were always tightly capped relative to the one-ounce issues.
