Sierra Leone has no meaningful connection to Osiris, the Egyptian god of the dead and resurrection. This is a bullion-adjacent collector piece issued under a longstanding arrangement where the Republic of Sierra Leone licenses its name and sovereign authority to foreign distributors — primarily European and Asian minting houses — who produce themed series with no relation to Sierra Leonean history or culture.
