Obverse description The Fijian coat of arms is depicted centrally in the field, featuring a quartered shield supported by two Fijian warriors, one holding a spear to the left and one holding a fan of leaves to the right. The shield displays traditional Fijian emblems including a British lion, sugarcane, a coconut palm, a dove, and a sailing vessel. A scroll below the shield bears the national motto in the Fijian language. The legend 'FIJI 2013' arcs along the upper border and '10 DOLLARS' is inscribed along the lower border, both separated from the central device by a beaded inner border.
