The composition is divided into four quadrant panels: to the upper left, clouds and sky; to the lower left, the facade of Notre-Dame de Paris rendered in fine Gothic detail; to the upper right, clouds; and to the lower right, a Romanesque rotunda church set within a rolling landscape with a winding road and trees. An engraver's monogram appears in the lower right field of the coin. |
