| Beschrijving keerzijde | The Czech Lion, the heraldic symbol of the Czech Republic, is depicted passant in high sculptural relief at the centre of the field, wearing an elaborate royal crown and holding a double-tailed serpent in its raised right forepaw. The lion's musculature, flowing mane, and extended claws are rendered with exceptional detail. The legend ČESKÁ REPUBLIKA arcs along the upper left periphery, while the inscription 1/4 oz · Au 999.9 arcs along the upper right, all within a plain raised rim. The mint mark of the Czech Mint (ČM) appears below the lion's feet at the base of the field, and the letter D is positioned in the lower right field. |
