Thirteen six-pointed stars are arranged in a ring around the effigy within the inner border. The inscription IN GOD WE TRUST appears to the left of the bust, the dates 1829 and 1837 denoting Jackson's presidency flank the right, and the mint mark W appears below them. The date 2008 and the legend 7TH PRESIDENCY are inscribed along the lower portion of the field. |
