Obverse description A close-cropped frontal effigy of the Statue of Liberty occupies the central field, rendered in high relief with finely detailed facial features and flowing drapery folds at the crown. The torch is partially visible at the right, while the statue's crown and face dominate the composition in a bold, intimate portrait style. The arched legend LIBERTY appears along the upper rim, with the date 2002 positioned to the right of the effigy. The motto IN GOD WE TRUST is inscribed in three lines to the lower right of the portrait. The legend E PLURIBUS UNUM curves along the lower left rim, completing the inscriptions in the field.

Reverse description The reverse depicts a bald eagle in full flight over a tranquil Northwestern landscape, with a snow-capped mountain range rising prominently in the upper background and a calm reflective body of water in the middle ground. The eagle is shown with wings outstretched, soaring low across the water's surface in a naturalistic pose. A small human figure in a canoe is visible in the right portion of the scene, evoking the wilderness of the American Northwest. The legend UNITED STATES OF AMERICA arcs along the upper rim, while the denomination $10 and the fineness and weight inscription .9995 PLATINUM 1/10 OZ. appear along the lower field. The West Point mint mark W is discretely placed to the lower left of the central design.
