Four heraldic vignettes occupy the corners and upper register: at upper centre, the arms of Barbados flanked by two sea-horses; at upper right, the shield of the Windward Islands; at lower left, the arms of the Leeward Islands above those of British Guiana with a sailing vessel; and at lower right, the arms of Trinidad and Tobago with a coastal scene below, accompanied by the motto FIDE FAUSTA. |
