Description de l’avers	An intaglio portrait of King George VI in a rounded oval vignette at right, rendered in a brown monochrome palette. At centre-left, a decorative scroll vignette displays a map of the Caribbean Sea and surrounding islands amid a tropical coastal scene with palm trees. The heading reads THE BRITISH CARIBBEAN TERRITORIES EASTERN GROUP, with the denomination TEN DOLLARS and the issuing authority FOR THE CURRENCY BOARD inscribed centrally; the date, serial number, and three manuscript signatures of the Member, Chairman, and Member appear across the face.

Description du revers	The reverse is dominated by a central guilloche oval surrounded by fine lathe-work underprint, with THE BRITISH CARIBBEAN TERRITORIES inscribed diagonally across the centre and EASTERN GROUP at the foot. Four heraldic vignettes occupy the corners and upper register: at upper centre, the arms of Barbados flanked by two sea-horses; at upper right, the shield of the Windward Islands; at lower left, the arms of the Leeward Islands above those of British Guiana with a sailing vessel; and at lower right, the arms of Trinidad and Tobago with a coastal scene below, accompanied by the motto FIDE FAUSTA.
