Additional information

Tajikistan's diram denominations were reintroduced in 2011 after the country's disastrous first post-Soviet currency experiment — the Tajik rouble — collapsed under civil war conditions and was replaced by the somoni in 2000, with small-denomination coins largely absent from circulation for years afterward. The 2019–2020 dating on KM#53 reflects a standard restrike cycle rather than any monetary event.
