Obverse description The crowned coat of arms of Andorra occupies the centre of the field, surmounted by a princely crown. The denomination '10' appears to the lower left of the shield, flanked by the denomination letter 'D.' to its right. The circular legend, rendered in Latin and separated by dots, reads 'JOAN D.M. BISBE D'URGELL I PRINCEP D'ANDORRA' around the periphery. The inscription '· EURO ·' and the date '· 1998 ·' are placed in the lower portion of the field. The design employs a two-tone proof finish, with a deeply mirrored field contrasting against the frosted relief of the arms and lettering.
