| 正面描述 | Effigy of King Abdullah I in traditional Arab headdress facing left, depicted holding the Independence Declaration scroll in his hand. The surrounding field bears an extensive Arabic legend comprising excerpts from the Independence Declaration of 1946, including the proclamation of Jordan as a fully independent state and expressions of loyalty to the Charter of National Unity and Arab ideals. The denomination '10 DINARS / ١٠ دنانير' appears in both Latin and Arabic script, flanked by the commemorative legend 'العيد السِّتّون لِذِكرَى الاستِقلال' (The 60th Anniversary of Independence) with the date range '١٩٤٦-٢٠٠٦' in the lower portion of the coin. |

Jordan's independence from the British Mandate was declared on 25 May 1946, and the date has anchored the kingdom's commemorative coinage ever since. This 2006 issue marks sixty years from that point. At 120 grams of .999 silver across a 60mm flan, it belongs to the heavier end of Jordan's commemorative program — a series the Central Bank has used selectively since the 1960s to document specific dynastic and national milestones rather than issue commemoratives at volume.
KM#84 is not a common catalog entry, and secondary market appearances remain infrequent.
